DATA EXPORT

Online scrumboard application at TangyOrange allows current task board data to be exported to a file in the CSV format. Most spreadsheet applications, including Microsoft Excel, support this format.

When exporting scrumboard data to the CSV format, your browser may display a security warning and ask you to approve the download:

Later your browser may give you a choice to either save the CSV file to disk or open it in a spreadsheet application installed on your computer:

Most spreadsheet applications allow data to be filtered and sorted using various criteria. For example, after opening the file in Microsoft Excel and applying the automatic filter to the title row, scrumboard data can be easily sorted, filtered, and analyzed:

In order to take full advantage of SCRUM data analysis and reporting enabled by data export, a number of useful conventions may be employed.
